INSTANT BRACES
With modern technology and increasing improvements in dental and orthodontic practices and treatment options, correcting misaligned, crooked and damaged teeth can be done in shorter amounts of time than was required in the past. Today, rather than patients going through the extensively long task of wearing painful and unsightly braces, they now have the option of fixing problematic teeth instantly, or at least in a few short days using instant braces.
With instant braces, what used to take months or even years to accomplish can be done in a matter of hours. Instant braces and instant orthodontics can take various types of forms and come in different levels of affordability. In one instance, instant braces use a technique called bonding. Bonding is a natural looking process that can close gaps (depending on how large) in teeth. Bonding call also be used to whiten discolored teeth or fill in chips or breaks that may exist. Bonding is a fairly common way to go in many instant brace circumstances and depending on the treatment necessary, may present itself as a reasonable alternative.
Another dental procedure that is directly associated with instant braces is the use of crowns. Crowns can take many distinctive forms whether they are made of soft metal, metal and ceramic combined or porcelain. Crowns provide an excellent option as instant braces as they are usually quick to install and provide a clean, natural looking finish…especially when porcelain is used.
Veneers are being utilized more and more often as an option for instant braces. With veneers, rather than building up a tooth using bonding, or capping a well prepared tooth in crowning, veneers are a ceramic wafer that is attached to the front of the disfigured tooth or teeth. Using veneers, teeth can be reshaped using some buffing and careful preparation. As far as instant braces goes, veneers are probably the most favorable choice, provide the best cosmetic results and also incidentally, are the most expensive.
Depending on the severity of the problem, different instant brace options may be more feasible than others. If someone is looking at changing the look and feel of their teeth with instant braces, a thorough consultation should be considered with your dentist or orthodontist.
